Order Analyst
As an Order Analyst, focused on supporting organizational activities for customer unique and tailored projects, you will aid Internal and External stakeholders with the overall customer experience by managing the project's administrative life cycle from order entry through invoicing. The right person for this role is data driven, loves to organize information, knows how to utilize technology to increase effectiveness, understands the importance of accuracy, and is fast and responsive. Major Functions of the Position:
- Order entry (properly load SIF files, cut and send POs)
- Acknowledgements (load acknowledgements, note discrepancies)
- Create Labor POs, manage service line items
- Create invoicing projections
- Maintain CORE Operating System’s Data Integrity
- Communicate order updates via VSimple
Essential Duties:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders from inception to implementation of projects.
- Focus on tasks for the order entry process, with the focus on data integrity, which includes reviewing order documentation, purchasing, acknowledgements, & customer invoicing.
- Follow-up with customers on outstanding A/R’s
- Complete invoicing
- Update invoicing dates in CORE
- Performs other responsibilities as requested for team and accounting
Level 2 Interior Construction Designer
The Senior Interior Construction Designer position based in Louisville, KY is responsible for oversight and continued development of the Interior Construction (IC) design team. This position includes continuous training and development of yourself and the deliverables you produce for both our internal and external customers. A senior designer is expected to meet critical performance dates, perform with a high level of professionalism, timeliness, and accuracy, and support junior designers. The Senior Interior Construction designer will perform high-level full solution projects with some pre-con knowledge. They will meet with clients, propose a variety of pre-fabricated construction / walls design solutions, fully specified, and provide feedback during on-site field verifications.
Education, Experience and Attributes:
- Minimum three years’ experience in interior design or commercial construction including at least two years’ experience in commercial experience
- Bachelor’s degree in interior design / architecture
- KYCID (Preferred)
- NCIDQ Certification (Preferred)
- Proficient in AutoCAD or REVIT
- Intermediate knowledge of Interior Design process and deliverables, pre-fabricated construction / walls process and deliverables
- Strong understanding of the construction process, real estate market, and job site conditions
- Ability to read construction documents and specifications
- Proficient in Microsoft including One Drive, Teams, and Outlook
- Proficient in ICE + BlueBeam (training can be provided)
- A high sense of urgency; able to execute tasks efficiently and calmly when multitasking and quick thinking are required
- Outstanding interpersonal skills that let them work closely with all project stakeholders as well as pre-fabricated construction / walls teammates to manage expectations and ensure the client’s experience is a positive one
- An understanding of interior construction including architectural elements, lighting, electrical, HVAC, and basic base-building knowledge
- Previous knowledge of pre-fabricated construction / wall's solutions including its layers and how they work together, as well as an understanding of how pre-fabricated construction / walls is installed, would be an asset
Major Functions of the Position:
- Space plan and provide holistic pre-fabricated construction / walls design solutions to customers.

Essential Duties:
- Review space plan with Project Team
- Convert Architect’s Plans into pre-fabricated construction / walls Solutions in ICE (training provided)
- Work with A&D Firms to Finalize pre-fabricated construction / walls scope
- Creating Final Production Files for Orders
- Pre-review order files and deliverables prior to pre-fabricated construction / walls order entry
- Provide pre-fabricated construction / walls technical & design guidance
- Understand local codes
- Promote & Position pre-fabricated construction / walls solutions
- Manage Finish / Materials & Custom Requests
- Create SD Packages with Pricing & Renderings in ICE
- Understand site conditions and how to design around issues
- Coordinate, develop, and review proposed project designs and construction plans
- Design client projects using appropriate software, populating the files from scratch or a predesigned floor plan
- Validate plans against construction, electrical engineering, and Architect & Design (A&D) drawing sets
- Create shop drawings + submittals
- Double-check specifications against plans, assure specifications are ready for order entry, and manage changes and revisions
- Utilize CAP + CORE programs for ID+A ordering and punch processes
- Provide on-site job inspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out or coordinate with appropriate parties
- Track and record design hours to specific projects for job costing
- Work with installers and project management to ensure installation meets customer specifications
- Review all production information & drawings for accuracy.
- Organize and submit/review orders prior to OE
- Provide additional support for your design lead.
- Work with A&D firms to finalize pre-fabricated construction / walls scope
- Understand site conditions and how to work around them.

Senior FF&E Designer - Nashville
A Furniture Senior Designer at ID+A works closely with Account Executives to design and specify spaces of any complexity. A senior designer is expected to have a deep understanding of industry products and processes, as well as internal processes. He/she shall be comfortable presenting to and meeting with clients, proposing a variety of furniture and design solutions, fully specifying and pricing a project, and on-site field verifications. Above all, a senior designer must demonstrate a willingness to take the initiative and continuously find opportunities to learn.
Education, Experience + Attributes
Minimum two years’ experience in interior design or contract furniture design.
Bachelor’s degree in interior design/architecture.
State of Tennessee Registered Interior Designer (Preferred)
NCIDQ Certification (Preferred)
Proficient in AutoCAD, CAP, CET, and commercial furniture programs (Scout + INDEAL) – Training will be provided for agreed-upon needs.
Intermediate knowledge of Interior Design process and deliverables and Interior Construction process and deliverables.
Proficiency in Microsoft including One Drive, Teams, and Outlook.

Major Functions of the Position

Essential Duties:
Communicate effectively with Account Executives to accomplish customer goals, including pre-sale qualifiers like budgeting, estimator tools, and Scout, etc.
Communicate effectively with internal teams, including those in other physical locations, such as Louisville and Lexington, KY.
Present to and meet with clients with or without Account Executive to move design projects through design process.
Deep expert in at least one aspect of furniture design (workstations, walls, ancillary, specific manufacturers, CAP, CET, healthcare, GSA, etc.).
Take initiative in problem solving, both for internal and external problems.
Produce deliverables for each stage of design, not limited to: proposals, revisions, sign-off documents, and installation drawings.
Expert in CET, CAP, MillerKnoll products, and top-tier mfg. partners (SOI, OFS, JSI, etc.).
Field measure and site verification for accuracy.
Perform Design Requirements in ID+A Process including CORE duties.
Participate in Design Audits (self-check, requesting, and performing for others).
Participate in-person and/or virtual training and learning opportunities.
Actively share knowledge with Furniture Design Team.
Work with Interior Construction and Interior Design teams to provide fully integrated solutions.
